An ongoing series made in collaboration with my subjects creating portraits that exist in the liminal space between reality and the subconscious. Through both staged and spontaneous imagery, I explore the fleeting nature of dreams and attempt to bring the feelings, imagery and fragments of imagined worlds I experience in that state into a palpable reality. My process is an exercise in visualizing the subconscious, shaping an open dialogue between dreaming and waking states. Each portrait becomes a reflection of both my own subconscious and that of the subject, blurring the lines between personal and collective dreamscapes.
